    I started using “spellingcity.com” after you mentioned it a week or so ago. For my special ed. students it has been a big help. I can customize the list for each student and they really like the games, especially the unscramble because it claps and cheers for them! thanks for the tip! Jamie

    This is a neat site that uses song to teach five letter words. You could also use this with sight words.

    I really like both of these sites. Both sites present content using multiple modalities which is very beneficial for children with various learning styles.

    For teaching sight words, this website is very helpful. It includes songs, cheers, and chants to help students remember sight words.

    I made a spelling game for one of my classes. It is still in the works but if anyone would like a copy when it is finished let me know. All you would have to do is change the word the troll says and change the answers. It does require some knowledge of adding hyperlinks but I wouldnt mind at all to show anyone how to do it.
