Great Resource Tool for all subject areas. Yes, you do have to pay a yearly fee but it’s worth every cent. VERY USEFUL!!!!

This is a great site for multicultural education (meeting the needs of ESL, etc).

Edhelper, another site that requires a fee, has been a tremendous help for me (Sp. Ed.) Our department paid for each teacher to be a member and got a cheaper rate. It is worth looking into.

Kindergarten is using a tool called rainbow words to motivate students to learn sight words. It is relatively cheap …..$25.00 or less, I believe. This is the first year we have used it and so far we have found it to be successful. My students know more sight words already in December than they have typically known by May You can find it at: http://www.rainbowwords.com

I’ve found some great materials from http://www.teachersclubhouse.com. They are created by a two actual inservice teachers. I particually like their powerpoints, which I’ve fould to be very good for introducing new content. They do charge a small fee (about 99 cents for a worksheet, a little more for a powerpoint, or unit), but I’ve not been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten from them. I read that they also will create custom, made-to-order materials for a reasonalble fee.
